Wannes’ Five for Five Challenge
250 kilometers around the Watersportbaan in Ghent
August 28, 2026 – Ghent, Belgium.
I turned 50 this year, and that calls for a celebration: a running party, a buddy run party.
I’d love to do this with everyone I care about, so yes, that includes you too!
Since I enjoy a triple challenge every now and then, I want to set the world record for the longest distance pushing a wheelchair at 250 km. It’s a big challenge for me and for all the supporters and runners who’ll be joining me for a few laps. Because I’m going to need you all!
I’m going to run 50 laps of 5 km each around the Watersportbaan for every Triple Challenge hero and for all the wonderful moments we get to share together.
Hopefully, my campaign will generate a lot of attention and donations so we can purchase 5 running wheelchairs to help make even more athletic dreams come true.
