On September 24, beMatrix experienced an extraordinary sports moment during the Alpro Leieloop. They realized their Push Buddy Team Challenge and shared an unforgettable experience with enjoyers on the beautiful course along the Leie in Wevelgem.

What was your challenge and why was the team determined to do it?

Thuline: “Our challenge was to do the Push Buddy Challenge with 10 ‘beManiacs,’ pushing enjoyers over a distance of 5 km or 10 km. Why? That was plain as day for us: as a company, beMatrix wants to make a difference. Sport has the power to connect people and promote inclusion. It was an opportunity for us to play sports together as a team and have a positive impact on the lives of others.”

What impact did this challenge have on your team?

Thulin: “This challenge brought out incredible energy and determination in our team. The entire race our faces were shrouded in smiles from start to finish. Everyone put their all into completing the 5km or 10km successfully, all to the loud cheers of our team members and the crowd.

What is the most memorable moment of your challenge that sticks with you?

Thuline: “Without a doubt, the most memorable moment of our challenge was the huge smiles on the faces of our two enjoyers. Their joy was contagious and motivated us to keep going regardless of the challenges along the way. The cheers and interest from the crowd along the course were also heartwarming. This experience proved to us that cooperation, inclusion and perseverance change lives.”
