vdk bank organizes for its staff the Push Buddy Challenge at the first edition of the ABSolutely Ghent 10 miles. 5 teams not only participate in the 10 miles, each team also pushes a recipient in a walking wheelchair along the finish line.
So not only do they experience the unique experience of running across that finish line as a team, they do it together with someone who otherwise cannot experience this fantastic feeling.
The result? Double the impact and forever #TripleChallengeHeroes!
ABSolutely Ghent 10 miles?
ABSolutely Ghent 10 miles is an event that brings together everyone, runners and non-runners alike, in Ghent. For the first edition on Sept. 18, 2022, they are unpacking a car-free city! The teams will start and finish in a festival atmosphere, run along Ghent landmarks with the highlight being the passage over the car-free Fly-Over with a view of Ghent’s medieval towers. These are the unique assets with which the course excels. Run together through Ghent, enjoy free top performances before and after and cross the finish line with the enjoyer.
