Sunday, May 14, 2023, this Triple Challenge triathlon team full of champions swam, cycled and ran to stand on the podium of the Bro.Go Half Triathlon in Lievegem. You cheered them on en masse and supported our call for more inclusive sports competitions! Respect. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Supporter for a team full of world champions and inclusion <\/strong>\ud83c\udf08<\/strong><\/p>\n

Swimming <\/strong>\ud83c\udfca<\/strong><\/p>\n

Athlete Piet Van Hijfte and Wannes Wylin. Piet takes on the challenge of covering 1.9 km using a bellyak (a kayak you have to lie on). Wannes is his ultramotor and Pete is paddling along. The orange buoy is his anchor point. \ud83c\udfc4<\/p>\n

Tandem bikes <\/strong>\ud83d\udeb4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Belgian world champions Griet Hoet & Anneleen Monsieur put gas on their tandem and blazed 90 km along the banks in Lievegem\ud83e\udd1e. They trained hard and systematically built up the volume towards this race. Chronometer their top speed \ud83d\udca8\u23f1 <\/p>\n

Running <\/strong>\ud83c\udfc3\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/strong><\/p>\n

Runner Antoon Kindekens goes full out in the running. Antoon sees virtually nothing, but he blindly trusts his running instincts and his handler. Encourage Antoon when he races past you like Jan Without Fear and sprints across that final sprint. Downright Phenomenal! \ud83d\udcaa<\/p>\n
