Description

Running is an expensive sport for those missing one or both legs. Not only do you need special walking feet or blades but also a prosthetic socket. That hefty cost makes walking after an amputation impossible for many people. With Blades on track, the UZ Gent Rehabilitation Center is making a statement: every prosthesis user should have the opportunity to walk on blades! Because walking makes you physically and mentally stronger.

Triple Challenge club member Lena invites all Triple Challenge heroes to join the Bladerun Challenge on July 1, 2023, around the Watersports Course. Sign up and further highlight their call!

At the Bladerun Challenge, everyone is welcome. Whether you want to (buddy) run, roll or just enjoy the wheelchair or the atmosphere. By participating in this event, we reinforce the call of Blades on Track and show that everyone has the right to enjoy the freedom to walk. 🌈
