Join us and run the 20 km across Brussels as a buddy runner!
Join us and run the 20 km across Brussels as a buddy runner! We are doing an awareness run for Kinumai, a Brussels-based organization that wants to make our capital more accessible to wheelchair users. Because everyone has the right to be able to move easily throughout Brussels. And there is still a lot to do. With your participation in this buddy run, you not only experience this fantastic running event in a unique and inclusive way, you also create visibility for Kinumai and the barriers they want to remove.

‘Physical barriers quickly become mental barriers’
David Seffer, founder Kinumai
In 2022, the proceeds of Brussels Helps went to the non-profit organization Kinumai. With portable ramps and a network of accessible toilets, founders David Seffer and Geert Palmers aim to bring more wheelchair users to the streets of Brussels. “Brussels needs a policy that moves away from the fixation on heritage.”
